Delores B. Pleasants, age 90 of Xenia, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at Legacy Village. She was born May 28, 1930 in Waynesboro, Virginia the daughter of Samuel and Edith Burnett.
Delores worked as a hairdresser for many years. She belonged to numerous garden clubs and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed traveling with her friends. She was a devout Christian. Her joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Delores is survived by her children, Franklin Terry (Patty) Pleasants & Donna (Mitchell) Weaver; grandchildren, Jill (Jeremy) Stringer, Leslie (Matt) Blanke, Tiffany (Kevin) Kearney, Oliver Bruce, Anthea (Joe) Lewis, Daniel Bruce & Vincent Bruce; great grandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa, Preston, Claire, Alex, Tori, Jonathan, Jaxson & Heidi; and many other loving friends and family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Samuel Vincent "Jimmy" Burnett; and sister-in-law, Buggy Burnett.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Delores' honor.
Memorial services are pending until family and friends can safely gather.
