Delora Short, age 92 of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born April 26, 1924 in Madison County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Guy and Lily West.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William T. Short, Sr.; brothers, Charles, Earl and James West; sister, Margaret Woods; and son-in-law, Albert Zepf.
Delora is survived by her daughter, Margaret Zepf; son, William T. (Cindy) Short Jr.; sister, Joetta (Ray) Lewis; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home- South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will take place in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
