Cooper, Della Marie (Wolff), 85, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton, after a brief illness.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Ralph Cooper, her parents, Hubert Wolff & Alvina Grefer, brothers, Robert Wolff, Hubert Wolff Jr., & Thomas Wolff, and sisters, Eileen Galyon, Vera Jean Kahle, & Doris Sanders.
She is survived by a large and loving family, including her sister, Lucille Lehman of Xenia, several beloved brother and sister-in-laws, numerous adored nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, as well as many good friends, including the Saturday morning coffee group from McDonalds.
A lifelong Dayton resident, Della Attended St. Anthony Catholic School & graduated from Patterson Co-op in 1950. Della worked at Miami Stationaries for 17 years. She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church.
Della, also known as Pete by her close friends and family, was a happy, fun-loving person who made friends easily and loved to laugh. She enjoyed simple pleasures, was appreciative of life & was easy to please. She loved animals and enjoyed getting together with friends and family, cooking for them & enjoying a game of cards. After retirement, Della and her husband enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the United States. After her husband's death she enjoyed going to the YMCA, where she made many new friends.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 11:00am at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 6696 Springboro Pike, where additional visitation will be held for 1 hour prior to mass. Burial at Highland Cemetery.
