Delilah Ashcraft

Delilah Ashcraft, age 85, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on June 18, 2022. She was born in Jackson, KY on September 9, 1936 to the late Henry White and Susie Campbell. In addition to her parents, Delilah was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ashcraft; brother, Arlis White; sister, Rose Sharpe; granddaughter, Sarah Ashcraft; and niece, Connie Adams.

Delilah is survived her children: Robert (Antanina Belik) Richards, Keith (Marivic) Richards, Lawrence (Sandy) Richards, Steve (Adrianne) Ashcraft; grandchildren: Steve Ashcraft Jr., Stephanie Ashcraft, Brian Richards, Jennifer Richards, and Dakota Ladd; sister, Nancy Ivey; and many other relatives and friends.

Delilah was a member of Faith Apostolic Church in Riverside before its closing. She loved going out to eat and hitting up the Goodwill or any thrift store she spotted. Most of all, Delilah loved spending time with her family.

A visitation will be held Monday, June 27, 2022 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. A funeral service will follow, officiated by her nephew, Timothy Long. Delilah will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park.
