Delia Anne Granger, age 86 of Centerville and Springboro, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Hidden Springs Senior Living. She was born July 14, 1938 in New York, New York, the daughter of the late Crockett and Fannie Harrison.
Delia loved her life growing up in Amityville, NY with her twin sister, Sarah. They both went to Wittenberg University together where they met their husbands. Delia married Ed Granger on February 21, 1959 and they spent 62 years together. She was a very devoted Christian and was a lay leader for St. Matthews by the Sea in Fenwick, DE for 10 years. She was most recently a member of Normandy United Methodist Church in Centerville, OH. Delia was a proud artist, and made sculptures, drawings, paintings, and jewelry. She and Ed loved the ocean and sailing, including chartering their own boat and sailing the Carribean, and she also had her pilot's license. Delia was an exceptional caregiver to many family members and friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Delia is survived by her children, William (Kimberly) Granger, Gregory Granger, Helen Granger, Jennie Granger-Ono; sister, Virginia Sue Forstot; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Mary Sayers.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Granger; sisters, Sarah Koogler, Betty Jane Cometa, and Lee-Olive Harrison; and daughter-in-law, Ellen Granger.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
