Hess, Delbert G.," Dobbie", 58, of Tipp City, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017. He was born December 3, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Delbert and Betty (Johnson) Hess.
Delbert was an Army Veteran .He was an avid collector of much. Dobbie was a Nascar fan and enjoyed fishing and karaoke. He was a good dad, and a great friend to many. He was very kind hearted and could make anyone laugh and enjoyed "harassing" you in a good way. He also loved to clown around.
He is survived by his children, Delbert "Del" Hess of Colorado Springs, CO, Raymond Hess and wife, Karen of N. Charleston, SC, Lori Smith and husband, Chris of Colorado Springs, CO, Jim LeMaster and wife, Krystal of Richmond, IN; 4 grandchildren, Ashley, Jessie, Nathan and Jayden; sister, Judy Whitt and husband, Gerald of Lucasville, OH, brother, Carey Hess of Colorado Springs, CO; nieces and nephews, and great friend, Teresa Marshall.
Visitation will be held 12:00pm until 1:00pm Monday, January 30, 2017 at newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd., where funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. Burial at Dayton National Cemetery.
