Fulk, Delbert E. (Gene), Age 83 of Beavercreek, OH passed away March 18,2005 at Hospice of Dayton. Born 12/25/21 in Scioto County, Ohio to Clarence and Zelma Fulk, Gene was a decorated World War II Veteran flying 66 missions with the USAF "Boomerangs" 320th Bomb Group and stayed active in their yearly military reunions. He was retired from Materiel Command at WPAFB with 28 years service. Gene was Class C baseball coach many years in the Dayton area, a high school basketball referree and was an avid golfer. He was a member of the VFW Beavercreek Post 8312. Preceding him death was his devoted wife of 54 years JoAnne Fulk, and 1 brother, Everett Fulk. He is survived by his wife, Juanita; 2 daughters, Sue (Dave) Freeze, and Kay (Jim) Schwieterman, all of Beavercreek; Grandchildren Kim (Rob) Gordon of Columbus, OH; Michelle (Erik) Edwards of Bellbrook, Brad Bodey and Andrea Bodey of Dayton; Great-Grandchildren Kaleigh Bowling, Dylan Bowling, Brenden Bodey and Hannah Edwards; 1 sister Marie (Orrin) Bailey of Bellbrook; and numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday 03/22/05 at 2pm with Pastor Greg Trout officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Beavercreek. Contributions may be made through flowers or to Hospice of Dayton in Gene's memory. Arrangements through Newcomer Funeral Home, Needmore Rd. Dayton.
