FRYE, Delbert R.

age 84 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. Delbert was born April 24, 1920 in Belva, West Virginia, the son of George and Willie Frye. He worked in the coal mines of West Virginia before moving to Ohio. Delbert retired from Huddleston Plumbing and was a member of the Spalding Road Church of God. He is survived by his brothers, James (Frances) Frye and Solie (Agnes) Frye; sisters, Mary (Haymon) Preast and Eva Masters; brother-in-law, Robert (Jennie) Boggs; sisters-in-law, Ruby (Homer) Petry and Karen Boggs; and 25 nieces and nephews. Delbert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Daisy (nee Boggs); sister, Esther Totten; and brothers, Robert and George Frye. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday. Interment will follow in Beavertown Cemetery. Pastor Larry Thomas will officiate.
