Deirdra C. Brown Rice

Deirdra Celess Brown Rice, age 59, passed from this life into eternal life Monday, July 19, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital.

Deirdra is survived by daughters, Patrice, Danita, Deardra, Matika-mae and son, Gary; as well as a host of grandchildren and friends.

Deirdra worked as a STNA and Home Health Care Aide in the medical field for many years. She also was a Veteran of the United States Military, serving four years in the Air Force.

Deirdra shared a life and home with fiance', Larry Miles for 16 years.

Deirdra loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Whenever you saw Deirdra, you saw Larry Miles and at least a few of her 12 grandchildren.

Family was the most important thing to Deirdra and she always made that known from the yearly phone calls where she would sing her children "Happy Birthday", to the Easter bags she made her children and grandchildren.

Although Deirdra will be missed, she is in God's hands now, but forever in our hearts.

A Homegoing Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00pm, on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Life House Church, 1190 Richfield Center, Beavercreek, OH 45430.
