Debra L. Penn

Debbie L. Penn, age 60, of Spring Valley Township, loving wife and mother, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2009. She was born in Columbus, Ohio January 2, 1949. Debbie was preceded in death by her Mother, Marilyn Harvey. She is survived by her Husband of 38 years, Mike Penn; Children, Phil Penn & his wife Karrie and John Penn & his wife Tiffany; Grandchildren, Robby Slone and Spencer Parks; Father, Ret. Lt. Col. James H. Harvey III & wife Pearlie; Sisters, Kathy Harvey, Cyndi Williams and Alysyn Middleton; many other relatives and friends and her beloved dogs, Sabre and Sabrina. Debbie worked in the Centerville City Schools. She was an active member of the Centerville Community Church, Carrousels of Dayton INC. and enjoyed her monthly participation with her Bunco friends. Debbie was a past member of AFS-Centerville. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held Monday, March 23, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Centerville Community Church (10688 Dayton Lebanon Pike, Dayton, OH 45458). As an active contributor of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton (1661 Nicholas Rd, Dayton, OH 45418), Debbie requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to them in her memory.
