Debra A. Harris

Debra A. Harris, 56, of Dayton, passed away October 19, 2016. Debra was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 13, 1960. She attended Northridge Freewill Baptist Church for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, dancing, listening to music, bingo and spending time with her family.

Debra was preceded in death by her loving husband, Douglas Leroy Harris; sons, Shawn Michael Harris, William Murphy; and her sister, Cheryl Schmalstig.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Stewart, grandchildren, Taylor Harris, Erianah Combs, Tyler Combs, Kylie Stewart; fathers, William Murphy, Jerry Redford; mother, Marlene Redford; brothers, William (Debra) Murphy Jr., Greg (Pamela) Murphy; and several other relatives and special friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 3:30pm-4:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 4:30pm with Pastor Tim Hamilton officiating. Burial will be at Dayton National Cemetery.
