Debra Ann Gibbs

Debra Ann Gibbs, age 65 of Riverside, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017. She was born May 10, 1952 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ronald and Leah Morgan.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Gibbs, Jr.; grandchild, Jacob Alan Gibbs; brother-in-law, Marvin Gantz; father-in-law, Rudolph Gibbs, Sr..

Debra is survived by her sons, Sean (Kristi) Gibbs, Jeremy (Tawnya) Gibbs; daughter, Danielle (James) Arthur; sister, Veronica Gantz; brother, Bruce (Teri) Morgan; grandchildren, Mikey, Tyler, Jason, Gunnar, Haley, Jenna, Alexis, Bryce; sister-in-law, Rita (Thomas) Rice; mother-in-law, Ruth Gibbs; family friends from Canada, Rick and Heather Barkey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, close cousins and good friends.

Debra was employed with Mad River Local Schools for 20+ years as a bus driver.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Dayton in Debra's memory.
