SMITH, Deborah K (McKellar), age 58, went home to be with the Father on Thursday, March 18, 2010.

She is preceded in death by, mother and step-father, Rita and Clay Patrick.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Sherrill; son, Vernon (Robin) Smith;father and step-mother, Charles (Monica) McKellar; sisters, Sarah McMillan, Patricia (Vernon) Veidt; brothers, Charles (Yong) McKellar, John Patrick, Lothar (Kim) McKellar; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was a founding member of Grace Baptist South Church. She was a teacher at Northmont High School for 15 years with special friends, Susan, Patty, Andree. Special thanks to Peggy, Verna, Carol and Tim for all their support and help through a difficult time.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 25 at 10:00AM at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd Kettering OH 45439 with Doug Criswell officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 24, at the funeral home. Interment at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in her memory.
