Deborah L. Mowery, lovingly known as "Debbie" and "Mawmaw," age 67 of Spring Hill, FL, formerly Dayton, OH, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at The James Cancer Hospital. She was born July 31, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Richard and Patricia Dawson.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Dawson; sister, Rebecca Westfall; and nephew, Stephan Thiele.
Debbie is survived by her children, James G. Hager II and Meghann Ayres; grandchildren, Aidan, Connor, Sarah H., Sarah P., Alexis, and Brian; great grandson, Jeremiah; siblings, Pamela (Mike) Domansky, David Dawson, and Patricia (Byron) Bedwell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, including special friend, Pamela (Houck) Mesa.
Debbie was a registered nurse for over 40 years and worked at numerous hospitals and rehabilitation centers. She was a mentor and teacher to many that she worked with. Debbie enjoyed watching Game of Thrones, Outlander, Mothra, and Wonder Woman. Most importantly, she loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren.
