Deborah Kay Howard

Deborah Kay "Debby" Howard, age 72, of Beavercreek, passed away on September 24, 2023. She was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on January 9, 1951, the daughter of the late Robert and Emma Shade.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Laurie; first husband, Steve Scholz; and nephew, Jason Robinson.
Debby is survived by her beloved husband, Delbert Howard; son, Gregory Scholz; step-daughter, Teresa Lynch (Jay); step-son, Eric Howard; grandsons, Stephen Scholz; step-grandson, Hunter Lynch; great granddaughter, Sophia Scholz; sister, Marcia Bailey; as well as many loving family and friends.
She retired from Weissman Group. She was a member of the Shamrock Athletic Club Auxiliary for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed going to estate sales, collecting Derby memorabilia, working in her flower garden, spending time with family and friends (especially her great granddaughter, Sophia, who was the light of her life).
A Celebration of her Life will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm, on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio.
