Deborah "Debbie" Slaughter, age 57 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013. She is preceded in death by her father, William Luster; grandparents, Rev. Morris E. and Daily Barnes; grandmother, Mary Akins.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Ned Slaughter, Sr.; mother, Nina J. Barnes; children, Anthony Barnes, Nina (Isaac) McIntyre, Donte (Adrienne) Barnes, Natalie Taylor, Nathan Taylor, Jr. and Natasha Taylor; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 10 siblings; host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was a member of Valley Peace Baptist Church in Dayton and a former member of Greater Damascus Baptist Church.
