Deborah Ann "Debi" Cox, age 68, of Dayton, passed away on March 11, 2022. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 24, 1953, the daughter of the late Clarence Lawson and Mary Lauricella.
She is survived by her beloved husband, James "Jim" Cox; daughters, Stephanie (Kevin) Rakes and Melanie Hogsten; grandchildren, Tyler Hogsten, Lori Rakes and Elizabeth Rakes; sister, Teresa Amrine; brother, C. Edward "Eddie" Lawson, Jr.; her fur baby, Angel; and many other loving family and friends.
In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, decorating (especially during the Holidays) and spending time with her family. She was very devoted to her grandchildren, they were her life! Debi will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
