Debora L. Zengel, "Debbie", age 65, of Dayton, peacefully passed away on March 13, 2023. She was born out west in Portola, CA on November 12, 1957. She grew up in many areas of the California region before making her way to her final home of Dayton.
Debbie was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Rae (Clifford) and Frank Edwards, her son-in-law, Robby Clem, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her two daughters, Angie Damico and Jessie (Doug) Collins; 6 beautiful grandchildren Kevin, Domenick, and Kylie Clem, David, Ella and Lucas Collins; husband Bill Zengel; siblings Greg (Sandy) Edwards, Jeanne (Alton) Prestella; along with her nieces, nephew and step-mom Joanne Edwards and family.
Debbie had a long career and a passion with numbers and enjoyed free-lance work. She was a connoisseur of collections and antiques and she liked to surround herself with things that made her happy. Debbie loved spending time and making memories with her grandkids. She didn't know a stranger, everyone was a friend. Debbie enjoyed helping people in need. She was a strong willed fighter with a sense of fun.
Family will have a memorial at a later time before returning her to the California mountains where she always wanted to rest. An expression of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Debbie's memory.
