Debi Barnett passed away at 7:36 a.m. Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Grandview Hospital. She was born in 1954 in Jackson, Kentucky and lived in Dayton, Ohio.
She was the mother of two boys, James S. Madden and Joey Madden; known as "Dee Dee" to her grandchildren, she was the grandmother to James l. Madden, Anglica J Madden, Zoey Elizabeth Rose Madden and Joseph M. Cypress; they said she was the best Dee any one could ask for.
She was a kind, giving person who would help any one in time of need and was always there to listen and help. She also was very funny and friendly. Debi was for sure her kids rock.
She was preceded in death her mother, Edna Barnett and father, Lloyd Barnett; brother, Doug Barnett; sister, Rhonda Barnett; and her best buddy, Gizmo Barnett, her Boston terrier. Debi left behind her last family member, Lloyd Ray Barnett and she has a Boston Terrier named Reba that her grandson will cherish now; and last but not least, her best friend Greg Car. Greg cherished her and helped her out so much and she appreciated him with her heart and soul.
She is going to be greatly missed by all her loved ones but she was saved and believed in God so we know she is in Heaven watching over us now. Till we meet again, we all love and miss you so much, mommy.
Family will receive friends Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton.
