Dean Alan Davis, 75 of West Carrollton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024. He was born February 2, 1949, in Tazewell, TN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil (Glen) and Allie Davis, brother Gary Davis, and grandson Tristin Jones.
Dean is survived by his wife of 33 years, Carla Davis; brother, Dennis Davis; 3 children, Alan (Stephanie) Davis, Jason Jones, and Candace Jones; grandchildren, Gunner, Dylan, Gracie, Braydon, Samiyah, Arrayah, Amanda, Brian, Jadon, Hayley, Peyton, and Hayden.
He served in the Vietnam War (Army) and worked many years at General Motors and DMAX before retiring. He will always be remembered for his humor and jokes and will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
If so desired, contributions can be made to the family, in lieu of flowers, to assist with funeral arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 12 pm– 1 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel located at 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, Ohio 45439; service to follow at 1 pm. Please don't worry about what to wear – Come as you are, casual dress is expected! A graveside service will be held immediately after at Highland Cemetery in Miamisburg.
