Dayton Combs
COMBS, Dayton E. 88, of Dayton, Ohio went to be with his Lord on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his parents Elbert and Cosby Combs; wife Helen Combs; one sister; and two brothers. Dayton is survived by his daughters Connie Combs, Mary Brown, and Sheila (David) McBride; grandchildren Jenny (Jeff) Smith and Anna Mc Bride; great grandson Dylan Smith; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends, including his church family.
He was a veteran in the U.S. Army Air Corps with service in WWII. Dayton was retired after 35 years from WPAFB (4950th Test Wing). He was a lifetime member of Aley United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held 10:00AM Friday, October 22, 2010 at Aley Church, 4143 Kemp Rd, Beavercreek, Ohio. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church in Dayton's Memory.
