Dawn Marie Frew (Jenkins)
October 2, 1968 — July 17, 2012
Dawn Marie Frew (Jenkins), age 43, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 17, 2012 after courageously battling cancer for 9 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, David E. Jenkins; grandparents, Rev. Earl & Mary Jenkins and Charles & Viola Northern; and several other relatives.
Dawn is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Gary Frew; mother, Phyllis Jenkins; step-children, Katrina (Jabari) Peoples and Kearsten Williams; step-grandchildren, Karina Salyer, Abram and Joshua Williams; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 11am-12pm at Kettering Assembly of God (2250 E. Stroop Rd.). A memorial service will begin at 12pm, with a dinner celebration to follow at the church.
Donations may be made in Dawn's memory to the Lymphoma Foundation of America (1100 N. Main St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104).
Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel.
