Dawn Marie Barney

Dawn Marie Barney, born January 31, 1966, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Grandview Hospital. She was a life long resident at Stillwater Health Center and attended the Calumet Work Center. Dawn was loved by all of the staff and with special thanks especially to Bob Troxel and Gail. Her best friend and roommate was Kristy.

Dawn is survived by her father, Thomas Barney; mother, Ellen Barney; step-sister, Roxanne Igo; niece, Brooklyn Igo; and nephew, Luke Igo. She was loved dearly by many, but especially by Aunt Peggy; cousins: Bonnie, Connie, Danny; Aunt Millie and Aunt Shirley.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dawn's name to the Stillwater Center Restricted Fund, 8100 N. Main St., Dayton, OH 45415.
