Dawayne "Chottey" Keefer
DaWayne V. "Chottey" Keefer, Sr., age 76 of Springfield, passed away July 31, 2011. He was born February 1, 1935 in Three Rivers, MI to the late Clarence and Flossie Keefer. In addition to his parents, Chottey was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. "P.J." Keefer.
Chottey is survived by his daughter, Sheryl Pratt; step-daughter, Mandy Ward and her husband, Bill; step-grandchildren: Natalie and William; sister, Pauline Etter; and personal friend, Beverly Burns.
Chottey was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Moose, Eagles, AMVETS and American Legion.
