David N. Woods, II

David N. Woods, II, born on January 15, 1965, in Xenia, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October, 28 2024, in Dayton, Ohio. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son who impacted the lives of many.

David was known for his remarkable skills as a mechanic. His passion for his work was evident, and he gained a reputation as an amazing mechanic whose expertise benefited many in the community. Beyond his career, David’s warm personality shone through in his interactions with others. He was a friend to just about everyone, possessing a kind heart, a giving soul, and a good sense of humor that brought joy to those around him.

He cherished riding his motorcycle, finding solace and a sense of freedom that he described as "wind therapy." This hobby provided him with a unique joy that he shared with his family and friends.

David is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Woods; his children, Rebecca (Robbie) Snyder, Tasha (Sarah) Woods, Sean Woods, and Megan Robinson; his mother, Mary Woods; his siblings, Don (Tina) Woods and Toni (Mike) Woods-Evans; his grandchildren, Austin, Kylie, Gage, Brenden, Dalten, Eva, Christian, and Isaiah; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will carry on his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Woods; and his grandparents Betty and Gerald Woods, and Mary and Robert Bean, all of whom he held dear in his heart.

A visitation in honor of David N. Woods, II will take place on November 2, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424.

A gathering will take place immediately following at David’s brother’s home.

David's legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

In honor of David, donations may be made in his memory to organizations supporting pancreatic cancer research.
