David "Tuck" Wolfe Sr., 83, of Miamisburg, peacefully passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022. He was born August 15, 1939, in Kentucky to the late Price and Susie Wolfe. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He retired from General Motors in 1989. He was instrumental in starting the Miamisburg Wee Vikes Football program. Tuck was very active in all aspects of Miamisburg Football, where he kept stats, coached, filmed, and whatever was needed. In the 44 years he was involved, he never missed one game. The highlight of his time with the football program was getting to watch his grandson Tyler play. Tuck was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa, and great-grandpa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Willard Wolfe; mother-in-law, Shirley Pletcher; numerous aunts and uncles.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his wife, Stephanie Kleismit Wolfe; daughters, Tammy (Roger) Smith and Courtney (George) Wright; grandchildren, Danielle, Tyler, Logan, and Sarah; 6 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Julie, Valerie, Vernon, Cheryl, Tracy, and all the other staff at Kettering Home Health, as well as great neighbors, Boo and Sarah; and adopted grandson, Bret.
Visitation will be Friday, November 18, 2022 from 5:00-8:00pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, OH 45459). A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 beginning at 10:30am. His final resting place will be at Hillgrove Cemetery in Miamisburg, Ohio, where military honors will be performed.
