David Wayne Hicks

HICKS, David Wayne, age 37, passed away unexpectedly in his home Friday morning, June 19, 2015. David was born November 23, 1977, and he was a lifelong resident of Fairborn. David leaves behind his mother, Pamela Fyffe of Fairborn; his sister, Amanda Hicks also of Fairborn; his niece, Nicole Marie Forsythe (Myers); his nephew, Travis Allen Myers; a great nephew Noah Anthony Jo Forsythe and a favorite uncle Arnold Hicks, who David looked up to as a father figure in his life. He was proceeded in death by his papa, Sam Hicks of Fairborn in 1995; a niece, Haley Ann Darnell in 2000 and his grandma, Eloise Price in 2004. David worked as a tile setter. He loved fishing and spent many hours fishing with his nephew-in-law, Tylor Forsythe (Nicole's husband). He also loved growing vegetable gardens. David was 37 years old. He was never married and had no children. He will be greatly missed by family and many friends, including lifelong childhood friend and neighbor Tommy Langdon. Funeral service will be private.
