David Ray Thorpe

David Ray Thorpe, age 73, of Kettering, passed away December 21, 2023. David was born on June 18, 1950 to the late Bobbie and Virginia Thorpe.

David is preceded in death by his parents; son, David Ray Thorpe Jr. and his daughter, Erika.

He is survived by daughter, Ashley Jones; son, Brian Thorpe; sister, Carol (Jim) Sage; brothers, Gary (Margie) and Jeffrey (Teresa) Thorpe and his grandchildren, Michael Jones Jr., Isabella Thorpe, Leyna Gress and Matthew Thorpe.

David retired from Wright Patterson after many years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton).

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek), where funeral services will begin at 1:00pm.
