David R. Storer, age 69 of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. He was born January 1, 1954 in Xenia, Ohio the son of the late Raymond and Donna Storer.
David owned and operated Dave's Painting and Drywall for over 40 years and truly loved what he did. He was well known on the CB Radio as Fat Daddy. He also loved to fish, watch soap operas and spend time with his family. He was a founding member of the Xenia Bad Boy Demolition Derby Team and continued that tradition with his children, son-in-law, grandchildren and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 30+ years and the love of his life, Audrea Storer; and siblings, Raymond Woody Storer, Robert Leroy Storer and Edith Robinette.
David is survived by his children, Doug (Teri) Storer, David Scott (Twila) Storer and Breana (Shawn) Grooms; grandchildren, Dustin (Cassie) Storer, Delany (Tanner) Sparks, Darcy (Jack) Stump, Destiny Storer, Shannon (Joseph) Ramos, Chris Jarrell, Shi'ann Storer, Audriana Grooms, Tiffany (Jon) Rue and Brad (Kelsi) Rue; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial gathering to be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church (2040 W 2nd St, Xenia, OH 45385) on Thursday January 25, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm with memorial service to be held at 2:00 pm. David will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia during a graveside service at 3:15 pm.
