David Ray Stone

David Ray Stone, born October 8, 1951, was welcomed into the arms of his heavenly Father on March 10, 2021.
Dave adored his four children (Tera, Jason, Tyler and Kalah) and loved watching them grow into adults and thrive as unique individuals. He also leaves behind his loving siblings Debbie and Danny and was greeted in heaven by his mother Mildred and younger brother Darty. He will be missed by his family and countless friends in Ohio and in Florida.
He was an active and passionate member of Tri City Baptist Church in Port Charlotte, Florida. He enjoyed being the honorary Grill Master for their youth camps and events.
Dave was a proud Respiratory Therapist and loved his time at Good Samaritan and Grandview Hospitals. He valued the life-long friendships he made there and the years of patients and families he helped.
He made friends into family wherever he went! This is true of his home at Laishley Marina in Punta Gorda, his My Brother's Place crew in Dayton, his brothers and sisters at Tri-City Church and his fellow boaters on Indian Lake.
David's faith was center in his life and he believed in the power of God's Amazing Grace. No doubt, he is on a Searay in heaven, OSU flag waving, at peace knowing he can rest easy after a life well lived.
