David Allan Simpson

May 19, 1945 — July 9, 2018

David Allan Simpson, age 73 of Dayton, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born May 19, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Allan and Margot Simpson.

He is preceded in death by his father.

He was a 23 year veteran of the USAF. He enjoyed his activities with the local Moose Lodge. Life member of the Dayton Moose Lodge, he also held memberships in the Indian Lake Moose Lodge, Crystal Lake Moose Lodge and Copperas Cove Moose Lodge in Texas

David is survived by his wife, Eunice; sons, Braven Blackwell, Phillip Liles, Michael (Bonita) Simpson, Eric Simpson and Daniel Simpson; sisters, Donna (Lyle) Odland, Barbara (William) Colson; grandchildren, Cody (Angie) Liles, Kelly Simpson, Aaliyah Liles; great-grandchildren, Isaac Liles and Alexandria Liles. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 9:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation Monday, July 16, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home, where a Moose Pilgrim Ceremony will be conducted. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
