David Anthony Schock

David Anthony Schock, 65, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2022. Loving husband to Diane for 40 years. Beloved father of Andrew (Abigail) Schock, Ryan Schock, Elizabeth (Jonathan Blados) Schock, dear grandfather of Theodore and Walden, adored brother of Dan (Jill) Schock, Dale (Becky) Schock and Denise (Doug) Hart. David is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all.

David was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Mildred Schock.

Dave retired from WA Hammond Drierite in Xenia, OH. His passion was youth trapshooting. He served as the president of OSTA in 2015 and was also youth director for many years. Dave was the coach of the Greene County Fish and Game SCTP team since 2003 and was a proud member of the OSTA Hall of Fame.

One of Dave's all time favorite activities was spending time and sharing doughnuts with his grandsons. Hunting and fishing with his family were also relaxing past times that he enjoyed.

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton- Xenia Rd Beavercreek, OH 45432) on Sunday April 24, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Funeral service will follow the next day Monday April 25, 2022 at 10:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton- Xenia Rd Beavercreek, OH 45432). Dave will be laid to rest at New Burlington Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Dave's honor to The Ohio State Trapshooting Association Foundation.
