David Richard Sablan, age 63 of Columbus, Ohio and formerly of Washington and Wisconsin States, passed away peacefully at the VA Dayton Hospital, Ohio to be with Lord and Savior Monday, February 13, 2012. He was born January 13, 1949 in Agat, Guam. He was a Veteran in the U.S. Army and served with the 2nd Brigade, 1/502nd of the 101st 'Screaming Eagles' Division in Vietnam. He was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star with 'V' Device and Air Medal.
In his passing, he now joins his Mother: Maria Babauta Sablan Bais, Grandparents: Diego Salas Sablan and Guadalupe Rivera Babauta Sablan, Niece: Tanya Marie Sablan King.
He will be forever missed and remembered in the hearts of his Sisters/Brothers and Spouse: nieces/nephews.

The family will recieve friends Friday, February 17, 2012 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - North, 4104 Needmore RD., Dayton. Graveside service will follow at 11:00 am at Dayton National Cemetery.
