David C. Rutan "Dave"

David C. Rutan, "Dave," age 80 of West Carrollton, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Dayspring Healthcare & Rehab. He was born July 10, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Leonard and Ruth Rutan.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Rutan.

Dave is survived by his fiancé, Terry Walker; 3 daughters, Elaine Huber, Patricia Rutan, Beth Monita; brother, Jack Rutan; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as a host of relatives and friends.

Dave was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was also an avid train collector.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH, 45439). Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Dayton National Cemetery at 12:30 pm with military honors.
