David Richardson

RICHARDSON, David K., 73, of Beavercreek passed away Monday October 12, 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents David and Marjorie Richardson. David is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy Richardson; children Randall (Gretha) Richardson-Solorzano and Kathryn (Thomas) Woodruff; grandchildren Austin, Stephanie, Sabra, and Ethan; brothers Gunnar (Sabra) Richardson and Holbrook (Carol) Richardson; numerous other family and friends. He was a decorated retired Major in the U.S. Air Force with service in Vietnam. In Vietnam he flew air rescue and will be remembered for the most rescues north of DMZ. David was the owner of Busy Beaver Arts and Crafts. He graduated from Brighton High School in Rochester, NY and attended University of Cincinnati. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday October 17, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Friday October 16, 2009 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
