David Aaron Potter

David Aaron Potter, 59, passed away on August 13, 2024 after fighting a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Troy, Ohio the son of Charles Potter and Paula Herman.

He leaves behind his wife of 38 years Elizabeth Potter; children Jeremy (Christina) Lipker, Ashley (Jason) Hazelbaker and Aaron (Courteney) Potter; grandchildren Johannemarie, Sarah, Jason Jr, Isaac, Adam and Jacob; great grandson soon to arrive Samuel David and sister Tracy (Josh) Mantooth. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Shelly Stine.

Dave was known to his family as a man that wore many hats. He was a proud DIY'er, he did a little bit of everything. He enjoyed a family camping trip and hiking. He was a collector of many things including beer steins, shot glasses and decanters. He had a passion for thrifting and made weekend trips with Elizabeth on a regular basis; he loved a good deal. His favorite time was spent with this family, especially his grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held at Englewood Christian Assembly of God on Wednesday August 21st, 2024 at 6:30 pm.
