David Wendell Plunket, age 62 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born May 10, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Chester and Jackie Plunket.
David was an all-around good guy who never knew a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to help someone. He worked for many years in heating & air and was a proud Neighborhood Assistant Officer (NAO).
David was a die-hard Browns fan and an Ohio State fan. He liked to fish and loved Christmas and snow. He was always the "fun" uncle and will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
David is survived by his brother, Michael (Emma) Plunket; sisters, Karen (Gary Sr.) McBride, Janet (David) Bonnell; brother, Keith (Maria) Plunket; uncles and aunt, Paul Plunket and Jim (Joan) Green; many nieces and nephews; many cousins and many friends.
Family will receive friends Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be worn in all public places.
