David Moreland

Moreland, David A., age 61, of Huber Heights, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at his home. He was born March 3, 1946 in Dayton, OH, the son of Ernest & Selma (Holmes) Moreland. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 43 years, Judy Moreland; three children, Tammy (Gary) Burnett of Huber Heights, son & best friend, Tim Moreland of Fairborn, daughter, Jessica Long of Dayton; grandchildren, Bethany, Cheyenne, Jacob, and Maria of Huber Heights, Heather "Bert", Kenisha "Sweet Baby", David, & Elizabeth of Fairborn, and Caleb of Dayton; sister & brother-in-law, Kay & John Markins and special niece, Angie (Jason) Hayslip of Peebles, OH; mother, Selma Moreland, sister, Margie Hesler of Kettering; brother, Richard Moreland of Centerville; and numerous nieces & nephews in Seattle, Washington, Kettering, & Peebles, OH; special friends, Wayne King, Dave Forsythe, David (Mavis) Caviglia, & Benny (Ella) Mullins. He is preceded in death by his son, David Jr., father, Ernest, brother, Larry Moreland, and his sister Loretta Moreland, special nephew, Dana Lee Hesler, mother & father-in-law, George & Eileen "Granny" King. Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 PM. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
