David Miller

MILLER, David G., 86, of Vandalia passed away Thursday October 30, 2008 at Vandalia Park Nursing Home. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Rosetta Miller; brothers William, Harold, and Jack Miller. David is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lillie Miller; children Maryellen(Robert) Stacey, Rosetta ( Bill) Barker, David G. Miller II, Leland Miller , and Melody (Dan) Lyons; grandchildren Leanna Jewels, Tamara (Patrick) Stine, Christopher (Kay) Barker, Mary Ann Stacey, Eric Miller, and Jason Miller; 6 great grandchildren; many other family and friends. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army Air Corp. Sergeant with service during WWII. David was a member of Hayne St. church of Christ. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Monday November 3, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00PM Sunday November 2, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
