David M. Medve

David M. Medve, age 77, of New Carlisle, passed away June 10, 2023. He was born March 24, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio to the late George Sr. and Helen (Patko) Medve. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his siblings: John, George Jr., Barbara, Viola, Andy and Helen.

Dave is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Medve; daughters: Michelle (Jerry) Crews and Becky (Kenny) Hess; grandchildren: John, Andrew, Hannah and Ethan; great-grandchildren: Cadyn, Audrey, Carter, Harper and Lane; numerous other family members and friends.

Dave retired from ABF Trucking Company after many years of service. He was a member of New Beginnings Church of God. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Dave loved his family and friends. He liked to make people laugh. Dave was a funny, generous and compassionate Christian man.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at New Beginnings Church of God, 6649 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights, where a celebration of life service will begin at 2:00 pm. Pastor Darryl McCoy officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dave's memory to the church.
