David Michael Mclees

March 4, 1971 — August 21, 2022

David Michael McLees, born Mar. 4th 1971 in Dayton OH, passed away Sun. Aug. 21st after living with kidney disease for most of his life.
Dave is preceded in death by his mother, Lisa McLees Grilliot and maternal grandparents, Richard and Daisy Newnam. He is survived by his siblings, Ashley (Steven) Pauley, Marcus Grilliot, Autumn (Mike) Lees, nephew Emery Pauley, niece Norah Lees, Step father, Chris Grilliot, Aunt Lori McLees, Uncle Donnie McLees, dear friend Stacey (Brian) Blackmore, extended family and many friends.
He was a 1989 Graduate of Beavercreek High School and had previously attended Wayne High School in Huber Heights. After living in FL for several years, he returned to Ohio where he worked for the family business, Electronic Transport from 1997 - 2017.
Dave was a fun, easy going, free spirit who could always make you laugh. He enjoyed gaming, fishing, camping, just being out in nature or at a shooting range and football, he was a huge OSU Buckeye fan and will be greatly missed.
We give thanks to the Kettering Hospital staff, his home health aides, DaVita Buckeye Dialysis and Crossroads Palliative / Hospice team for all of the care and support over this past year.
Public visitation to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd) on Friday September 9th, 2022 at 5:00 pm with memorial service to follow at 6:00 pm.
