MARSHALL, David

Age 65 of Union passed away July 27, 2009. David was born November 22, 1943 in Dayton, OH and married Susie Bowling on September 27, 1969.

David was honorably discharged from US Marine Corps after serving two tours in Vietnam & was awarded two Purple Hearts, a Presidential Unit Citation, & a Marine Medal of Valor. David was retired from GM & was a member of VFW #9927.

David is survived by his son Gary Kyle Marshall, sisters Marilyn (Paul) Monroe & Norma Sears; brother Bob (Nancy) Marshall; & several nieces & nephews; & good friend Bill Fuson.

Services will be held 11:30am Mon. Oct. 5 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton with Pastor Rob Wackerman officiating. Interment at Dayton National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 Sunday & from 10:30-11:30 on Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, PO BOX 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
