David K. Cox

David K. Cox, known affectionately as Dave, passed away on June 19, 2024 in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio. He was born on February 28, 1966, to his loving parents William "Bill" and Catherine Cox.

In his career, David was a dedicated tool & die inspector, known for his meticulous attention to detail and strong work. Beyond his professional life, David had a passion for old, classic cars. He enjoyed working on them and painting them, showcasing his creativity and skill. Moreover, David cherished spending time with family, often bringing everyone together for joyous cooking adventures where he could showcase his culinary talents. Anytime his family was together, David usually started a bonfire and would share a fireworks display for everyone.

David will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Sarah Cole and Jennifer Kobus. He also leaves behind his sisters, Deborah Spears (Jerry Little) and Diane (Randy) Kinder. Additionally, he is remembered by his niece and nephew Amanda (Doug) Cantrell and Jeremy Spears, along with a multitude of great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends.In addition to his immediate family mentioned above, David is now reunited in heaven with his brother Greg Cox and nephew Joshua Clark. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved them.

A visitation service will be held in honor of David at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton on June 28, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Following this, a Graveside Service will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton at 12:00 PM.

David's legacy of hard work, creativity, and love for family will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.
