David R. Joyce

David R. Joyce, age 79, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away on November 15, 2022. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 16, 1942 to the late Robert and Doris Joyce. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his grandson: Alden Joyce.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Barbara M. Joyce; children: Troy (Candy) Joyce, Steve (Schatzie) Joyce, and Cheryl (Terry) Delawder; grandchildren: Tyler (Ashley) Joyce, Aleina (Abram) Landes, Alyssa Joyce, Alexa (John) Little, Jennifer Pratt, and Anthony (Shaina) Delawder; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; siblings: Donna Schrimpf and Mike Joyce; and many other family and friends.

Dave enjoyed his time as a peewee football coach in Huber Heights. He also loved his hunting and fishing, but his greatest love was his family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. A memorial service will begin at 3:30pm.
