David Johnson

JOHNSON, David W., age 46, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2004 at home. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, November 1, 1957. He was a Kettering resident for 42 years and attended Kettering schools, graduating in 1975. He received an Associate degree from Sinclair and a BS degree from the University of Dayton in 1982, Cum Laude. He married Christine E. Barnes on April 7, 2001. He was employed at One Lincoln Park as a chef and by Temporary Health Care Services as an accountant. He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd E. Johnson. David is survived by his mother, Nina B. Johnson. David was confirmed in the Memorial Presbyterian Church, Dayton and a member of the Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church, where he served as an auditor. Funeral services will be held 10:30AM Friday, March 26, 2004 at Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church 4417 Bigger Rd. Revs. Julia K. Wharff and Kendall Bryant co-officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Newcomer Farley Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio. Interment will be in Heritage Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church in David's memory. David will be greatly missed by his family and those who knew him.
