SUSKE, David J.A., age 51, of Jamestown, Ohio, formerly of Brooklyn Center, MN, died peacefully after a 3 year battle with cancer on July 7, 2007. He was born September 9, 1955 in Minneapolis, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Shirlee Suske, and brother Shawn Hueser. David is survived by his loving wife of 4 years, Pamela; children, Christopher, Jonathan, Robbie, and Jessica Suske (all of Oklahoma City, OK); step-children, Curt, Jason, Lindsey Warner, and Jesse Stookey (all of the Dayton, OH, area); grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Kaleb, Taylor, Kaydynce Warner, Tyler Suske, Mozie Stookey, Jasmine Stookey, Kierah Phillips; sisters, Kathleen Hueser (of Minneapolis), Maureen (Tom) Hannibal (of Minneapolis), and Judy K. (Dow) Cuningham (of Arlington, TX); brother, Nicholas (Darlene) Hueser (of Inver Grove Heights, MN); many nieces, nephews, and so many special friends. David grew up in the Minneapolis area and had also lived in Oklahoma, Colorado, and Ohio where he worked in Mall Security and Law Enforcement. His most significant accomplishment was in 1995 serving in the rescue and recovery operation for the Oklahoma City bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, OK. He loved to travel, ride motorcycles, and spend time visiting with family and friends. David served 20 years in the Military Reserves. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992 from the University of Central Oklahoma in Criminal Justice, a Certificate in the Law Enforcement program from North Hennepin Community College, and was a 1975 graduate of Vocational High School-Culinary Arts, Minneapolis, MN. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge (Oklahoma City, OK) and the Blue Knights (Colorado and Ohio). A memorial service will be held Friday, August 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH, 45432) with Pastor Denny Sargent officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Dayton.
