David L. Howerton, Sr., age 87 of Trotwood, passed away September 25, 2013. He was born June 26, 1926 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Doc and Laura Howerton. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, David L. Howerton, Jr.
David is survived by his wife, Annabelle; children: Floyd Howerton, Linda Strole and Betty Prunis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Maynard Howerton; sister, Georgia Clinard; many nieces and nephews.
Pastor Elmer Buck officiating. Contributions may be made in David's memory to the Dayton Humane Society. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
