David Edward Gray

David Gray, age 77 of Bellbrook, passed away in Dayton, Ohio on October 8, 2017. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on March 26, 1940, to Edward Gray and Marie (Cole) Riddle. He was raised by his grandparents Jacob and Minnie (Carpenter) Cole.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 34 years Carol L. (Jenkins) Gray; children, Kerry, Cassy, Emily, John-David, and Nathan; grandchildren, Nora-Jean and Max; and brother Jerry; as well as many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

David graduated from Hamilton High School in 1958 and was an employee at Ford Motor Company for 47 years, retiring in 2007. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed spending time on the beach at Anna Maria Island, Florida.

A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home-South Chapel in Kettering on October 22, 2017, with visitation beginning at 1:00 and services beginning at 2:00.
