David E. Matson

MATSON, David E. age 56, of Miamisburg, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2006. He was born in Dayton, OH on June 10, 1949, graduated from West Carrollton High School in 1967 and the University of Dayton in 1977. He was employed by Ohio Valley Goodwill. He formerly served as VP-Corporate Director of Asset Protection 1977-2004 for Elder Beermans. He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Joan Matson. He is survived by his wife Marsha, his daughter Carrie of Miamisburg; sister Sondra and husband Pat Lafferty.; nieces Kathryn Lafferty and Cynthia Herndon; great nieces Chelsea, Samantha and Sydney all of Dallas, TX. Mass of Christian burial will be 12:00 pm Thursday, June 1, 2006 at St Albert the Great Catholic Church 3033 Far Hills Ave. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd. Interment at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
