David E. Bowman, age 83 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on September 6, 2021. He was born February 24, 1938 in Ironton, Ohio son of the late James and Effie Bowman.
David was an artist, he loved to work on different projects. He loved to tell jokes and make others laugh. David will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Shelby Jean Bowman; brother, Joe Bowman.
David is survived his sister -in-law, Nancy Bowman; nephews, Brent (Holly) Bowman of Columbus and Matthew (Jodi) Bowman of Xenia; great nieces and nephews; step-daughter, Gloria (Leonard) Greene of Lebanon; step-grandchildren, Anthony, Angela, and Nathan; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10:30am at Sugar Grove Cemetery (1251 State Route 503, West Alexandria, Ohio 45381).
